KPM xApp

ENKI AI has developed the KPM xApp, which subscribes to cell-level Key Performance Measurements (KPMs) available at the O-DU and O-CU, presenting the reported metrics in charts via the popular Grafana application.

KPMs for individual cells can be displayed with 1-second granularity on the time axis, enabling detailed analysis.

The KPM xApp is designed to simplify the development process by introducing the Simple xApp API. With this API, xApp developers are freed from the complexities of managing TCP connections, gRPC coding, and ASN.1 encoding/decoding of nested E2SM messages.

By leveraging the Simple xApp API, available in Python, developers can quickly build new xApps, as the provided Python module takes care of all the gRPC and ASN.1 encoding/decoding tasks.
